A "spook-tacular" evening, certain to give audience members of all ages thrills and chills.
About/Bio
BROADWAY FRIGHT NIGHT is a celebration of songs from musicals with Supernatural, Horror and Sci-Fi themes. Created and hosted by New York Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, five of Broadway’s finest vocalists will pay homage to Broadway and Off-Broadway’s most original, intriguing and terrifying characters in this all-new concert event. The stars will recreate their most memorable musical moments, display their great versatility, share backstage behind-the-scenes anecdotes and participate in an enlightening and entertaining question and answer session with the audience.
The evening will include musical selections from Wicked (“The Wizard and I”, “Defying Gravity”); The Phantom of the Opera (“Think of Me”, “Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again” and “Music of the Night”); Jekyll and Hyde (“This Is the Moment”); Little Shop of Horrors (“Somewhere That’s Green”); The Rocky Horror Show (“Science Fiction, Double Feature”, “Time Warp”); Sweeney Todd (“A Little Priest”); Young Frankenstein (“He Vas My Boyfriend”); Dance of the Vampires (“Total Eclipse of the Heart”); Dracula the Musical (“Life After Life”); Bat Out of Hell (“I Would Do Anything For Love”); Love Never Dies (“Love Never Dies”); The Secret Garden (“How Could I Ever Know?”) and much more!
Past performers who have appeared in previous editions include Richard Todd Adams (title roles in The Phantom of the Opera and Jekyll and Hyde), Jackie Burns (Broadway’s longest running Elphaba in Wicked), Ali Ewoldt (Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera), Sara Jean Ford (Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera), Alica Irving (Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd), Justin Matthew Sargent (Peter Parler/Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark; Drew in Rock of Ages), Jenny Lee Stern (Forbidden Broadway), Joey Taranto (Drew in Rock of Ages) and Michael Wartella (Mike TeeVee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory).
